Overview

The Interactive Tutor Suite consists of the Interactive Tutor and the Curriculum Studio. The Interactive Tutor is used to view a book of concepts created in the Curriculum Studio.

Interactive Tutor allows the user to learn a concept through multimedia. The user explores explicit and implicit definitions of the concept in text, audio, graphics and video formats on a concept page.

The user can receive test questions to reinforce the concept material and to confirm retention and understanding. Here, the Interactive Tutor automatically generates questions using random combinations of text, audio and graphics for the question and the answers. Users answer these questions and their progress is tracked for each concept.

Users can explore simple and elaborate books of concept pages. These concept books are organized much like classroom textbooks. Each concept page contains one concept. A chapter may contain a set of concept pages or a set of sub-chapters.
